Cosy Times Ceramics: Unique minimalist pieces lovingly made by hand that can add the perfect finishing touches to your home and can be treasured for many years to come. All ceramic pieces are wheel-thrown from fine porcelain in Kerteminde
on the island of Funen in Denmark.
Every piece is exclusively designed by Svetlana in her studio in Denmark's Kerteminde. The unique creations are hand thrown on the wheel, before they are turned, glazed and fired at 1,250 °C to ensure vitrification. All pieces are made from porcelain, while the glazes used are inspired by the seaside and the constantly changing colours of the sea, sky and nature.
Slovakia-born Svetlana decided to move to London in 2003 to turn her earlier career as a hand drawn animator into an entirely new chapter. She went on to study design at the University of the Arts in London and worked as a graphic designer during and after completing her studies. In 2014 Svetlana decided to try a ceramics course to create her own planter; little did she know that she would fall in love with clay and the vast design possibilities it has to offer. To improve her new skills further, she took private classes with Michel Francois in Cornwall where she focused on working with porcelain. She has never looked back.
